  • Stefan Beck on the 21st Jan, 2010

    Not too happy with this.

  • lineofbestfit on the 21st Jan, 2010

    middle east vs bridezilla fuckkkk.

  • mickyj on the 21st Jan, 2010

6 bands i wont to see and all have clashes.

  • tauiwi on the 21st Jan, 2010

Melbourne easily has the best timetable. Fuck yeah!

  • gumbuoy on the 21st Jan, 2010

    kidsam-middleeast-mumfordandsons-sarahblasko= fuck yeah!

  • Atomic on the 21st Jan, 2010

really been hanging out to see this timetable

  • shazie on the 21st Jan, 2010

mumford 'n xx clash at sydney is depressing :(

  • mondo22 on the 21st Jan, 2010

damn the clashes in brisbane. possibly the worst timetable clash for me. im not phased but, whatever's good at the time is good at the time. slightly p'd about Mumford and Daniel Johnston Clash. (will go mumford) Florence and ECSR clash. (Florence) Echo and the Bunnymen and Black Lips Clash. (Echo) should be fun all the same. didnt even realise it was next friday and Them Crooked Vultures on Monday!

  • mondo22 on the 21st Jan, 2010

wait. i probably will go with eddy current suppression ring the more i think about it.

  • Stefan Beck on the 21st Jan, 2010

Overseas acts get all my attention because lets face it all of those Australian bands (with the exception of Dirty Three) will probably be on the road within the next twelve months anyway.

  • spintheblackcircle on the 21st Jan, 2010

any chance to see the dirty three is a not to be missed affair.

  • Lewisss on the 21st Jan, 2010

agree. mumford clashing with xx is very very average. how did melbourne score such better set times????

  • Braveheart81 on the 21st Jan, 2010

Some clashes are intentional. They don't have the capacity to have 80% + of the crowd at a single stage so they need to ensure that the crowd is split.

  • lanesra23 on the 21st Jan, 2010

Throw Wild Beasts in that mix for me.

  • mondo22 on the 22nd Jan, 2010

my brother and his mate are thinking of forfeiting their Them Crooked Vultures ticket to see Dirty Three on the same night. tough call. I'll see TCV though. i'm not forfeiting 106 bucks

  • gumbuoy on the 22nd Jan, 2010

if thats at the riverstage, they could probably do both - TCV will be finished pretty early, and D3 will go forever...

  • lanesra23 on the 22nd Jan, 2010

TCV at the Riverstage will be done and dusted by 10, no doubt.

  • Stefan Beck on the 22nd Jan, 2010

my brother and his mate are thinking of forfeiting their Them Crooked Vultures ticket to see Dirty Three on the same night. tough call. I'll see TCV though. i'm not forfeiting 106 bucks I think even the chance to see The Dirty Three will come up again before TCV come back to Australia. Hell, just go to an All Tomorrow's Parties. They seem to play every single one.

  • mondo22 on the 22nd Jan, 2010

^ yeah chances are you're right. TCV are probably only likely to do one world tour I reckon.

  • sgmoore on the 24th Jan, 2010

sooooooo many clashes, laneway is the new v festival..

  • PsychoAndy on the 27th Jan, 2010

two hours of no live music in total at laneway briz !!! why is there 20 minutes of no live music on six seperate occasions at laneway bris? why are the set times so similar. everyone will be moving

  • gumbuoy on the 27th Jan, 2010

did you go to last years brisbane show? assuming the layout is the same, 1. it's easy as to get around 2. there's always heaps of other stuff going on as well...

  • gumbuoy on the 27th Jan, 2010

im gonna miss Whitley, and have to decide between Florence and Eddy Current. Or, since Dirty Three has replaced Echo, they'll probably go for 8 hours, giving me time to see Eddy Current and then get over for Florence...

  • bhutos on the 27th Jan, 2010

It's AIDS, there is only one clear slot and thats the XX because Blasko has been virtually omnipresent for the past year. I'm thinking Daniel > The XX > The Very Best > Florence although I doubt I'll make it early enough to catch most of Daniel which is fucked but at least it removes the Bridezilla vs Middle East problem.
